In 1963 Drake worked a short time as Chief of Lunar and Planetary Sciences on the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. I bought curious and went to see what stars the Apollo astronauts have been indeed capable of see as I suspected one could see stars all the higher with no environment. Properly I need to say I found myself so very surprised to listen to Neil Armstrong tell Patrick Moore in a 1970 BBC interview that the only objects one can see from the moon’s floor in the lunar sky are the the planet earth and the solar.now I’m very confused.
